Bricks or Roots?
On one hand, we have a protective wall
On the other, a life-giving old tree stands tall,
Yet fate is cruel when it calls
For one to stand, the other must fall,
The wall may guard, but it's demise doesn't pain
Brick on brick n' sand inbetween it can rise again,
But roots run deep through earth years unseen
For nature's divine queen to bloom green,
She breathes, she gives, she softly stays
A silent witness to the passing days,
So if we choose when fate makes plea
Let walls be lost, and spare the tree...
